Evrim Alasya — Biography

Evrim Alasya is a television actress with a background in theatre, best known today for playing Kıvılcım Arslan in the series Kızılcık Şerbeti, a role she has held since 2022. A Dokuz Eylül University theatre graduate, she practised rhythmic gymnastics as a young woman for the Çimentaş Sports Club and competed nationally and internationally before moving from sport to the stage.

After finishing high school she enrolled in 1997 in the acting course of Konak Municipal Theatre, and in 1999 she began her professional career at the Pınar Children's Theatre. She moved to Istanbul in 2003 to work at the company's Istanbul branch until 2006, then joined the Acting Workshop founded by Zuhal Olcay and Haluk Bilginer. On screen she appeared in Ihlamurlar Altında and Bir İstanbul Masalı and played the flirtatious singer Balçiçek in Gönülçelen. Her breakthrough came with the role of the young Hafsa Sultan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl.

Later she played Suna in Benim Adım Gültepe, had a leading role in Güneşin Kızları in 2015-2016 and played Müjgan in Koca Koca Yalanlar. In 2020 her portrayal of Meliha in Kırmızı Oda was well received, she played Ferda in Akrep and joined the second season of Terzi in 2023. In film, her role as Fidan in Muro: Nalet Olsun İçimdeki İnsan Sevgisine is among her notable credits.
