Evren Erler — Biography

Evren Erler (born September 11, 1976, in Istanbul; some sources give his birthplace as Kars) is a Turkish stage, film and television actor. He began actor training in 1986 and, between 1986 and 2008, worked as an instructor, actor and director at Shem-tk, a company based at the Sarıyer Public Education Center. He won consecutive prizes at the Sadri Alışık Theatre and Film Actor Awards, first for Best Supporting Actor in Comedy and then, the following year, as the year's most successful actor.

His on-screen career began in 2011 with the series Alemin Kralı and Leyla ile Mecnun, followed by İnadına Yaşamak (2014) and a widely noted role as Kocabaş in Diriliş Ertuğrul (2015). Between 2016 and 2018 he played Şirzat Sarıkaya, the eldest son of Salman Ağa, in the Fox TV series Kalbimdeki Deniz, and he also appeared in the 2018 film Güvercin.

In later years he played Behram in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, Çalayır in Destan (2021-2022), and Halim Yokuşoğlu in Gönül Dağı (2026), continuing to work steadily across television and film.
