Cenk Kangöz — Biography

Cenk Kangöz is a Turkish actor born in Istanbul on December 2, 1974. He trained in on-camera acting and diction at Akademi 35 Buçuk, and became known for the supporting characters he played in both feature films and widely watched television series over the years.

He made his film debut in 2009 with Kolpaçino: Bir Şehir Efsanesi and later appeared in G.D.O. KaraKedi in 2013. On television, he became known for playing Yaşar in Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?, reached a wide audience with his role in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, and drew attention for his portrayal of Hasan in Medcezir; he also appeared in the series Kördüğüm. He brought the character Philip to life in Diriliş Ertuğrul, broadcast on TRT, and took on the role of Dragan in the 2022 film Adanış: Kutsal Kavga.

In early 2026, he made headlines after reportedly being threatened at gunpoint in Sarıkamış, an incident that was widely covered in the Turkish press.
