Ertuğrul Postoğlu — Biography

Ertuğrul Postoğlu was born in 1959 in Malatya. After completing his university education, he gained stage experience by appearing in numerous productions at the City Theatres.

For many years he was the voice of Kanal D's promotions and announcements, becoming a voice familiar to television audiences. His breakthrough in front of the camera came in 2014 with two major projects: he played the character Yıldırım in the Kanal D series Paramparça, a role that brought him wide recognition.

In the same period he joined the cast of Diriliş Ertuğrul, broadcast on TRT 1 and starring Engin Altan Düzyatan, portraying the character Bahadır Bey. Combining theatre, dubbing and television acting, Postoğlu is regarded as one of the experienced character actors of Turkish television.
