Éric Berger — Biography

Born on 13 June 1969 in Amiens, Éric Berger has worked for decades as a French film and television actor. He trained at Cours Florent and at Paris's national state drama school, and was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actor. Working steadily since the early 1990s, he has built up a screen résumé of well over forty pictures; two career-defining credits are his part as Julien "Breitling" Madigan in Quatre Garçons pleins d'avenir and the title role in Tanguy (2001), which he reprised in its 2019 sequel. Alongside his film work he has also had roles in television series such as Julie Lescaut, Avocats & Associés and Maigret.
