Cemre Kemer — Biography

Cemre Kemer, whose full name is Cemre Kemer Medina, is a Turkish singer, songwriter and actress born on 17 February 1985 in Istanbul. As a child she performed with the children's ballet troupe of the Atatürk Cultural Centre and completed classical ballet training at the Ballet Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University's State Conservatory, taking voice and piano lessons along the way.

In 2005 she formed a girl group with childhood friends from Istanbul; Eren Bakıcı, Gülçin Ergül and Yasemin Yürük were the other members, and together they took the name Hepsi. The group quickly achieved record-breaking sales in Turkey and gained international recognition with the song 'Bad Penny'. In 2007 she played a character sharing her own name in the group's namesake television series, and also appeared in the series Avrupa Yakası and the film Kısık Ateşte 15 Dakika.

In 2018 she announced she was stepping back from music to focus on social media influencing. She married Emre Medina in December 2020 and is now a mother of two.
