Ahmet Arıman — Biography

Born on 27 November 1955 in Rize, Ahmet Arıman is a well-known Turkish film actor who has also worked as a musician throughout his career. He is best remembered for playing the character 'Hayta İsmail' in the 'Hababam Sınıfı' film that launched in 1975 and its sequels.

Beginning his acting career in the Yeşilçam era, Arıman went on to appear in long-running television series such as 'Büyük Buluşma', 'Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki', 'Filinta' and 'Paramparça', and returned to the big screen with 'Hababam Sınıfı Yeniden' in 2019 and 'Sürmeli' in 2025. Alongside this extensive acting career, he has also kept up his work as a musician, performing on the organ and singing at various venues in İstanbul.

Still frequently recalled in the press in 2026 as the actor behind 'Hayta İsmail', Arıman remains one of the notable figures of Turkish cinema and music with a career spanning more than five decades.
