Uğur Biçer — Biography

Uğur Biçer was born on June 26, 1988, in İzmir. After completing a Sociology degree at Ankara University's Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, he turned to acting and stepped onto the screen in 2012 with the series Osmanlı Tokadı, joining the cast of Düşman Kardeşler that same year.

He first drew real attention in 2014 opposite Gizem Karaca in Güzel Köylü, and that year also appeared alongside leads Ata Demirer and Demet Akbağ in the film Eyvah Eyvah 3 and took a part in Hanım Köylü (2016). He then joined the second season of Star TV's Kiralık Aşk, opposite leads Elçin Sangu and Barış Arduç, playing the villainous Cevdet. After that series ended he stepped away from the screen for a while before reaching a wide audience as Staff Sergeant Emre Durmuş in Fox TV's military drama Savaşçı (2017), alongside Berk Oktay, Murat Serezli and Fırat Albayram.
