Viva la libertà (Yaşasın Özgürlük)

Long Live Freedom (original title Viva la libertà) is a 2013 Italian comedy-drama film directed by Roberto Andò. Andò adapted the film from his own novel Il trono vuoto (The Empty Throne), co-writing the screenplay with Angelo Pasquini. Produced by Rai Cinema and shot in Italian, the film runs about 94 minutes.

The cast includes Toni Servillo, Valerio Mastandrea, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Renato Scarpa and Lucia Mascino. The film won the Nastro d'Argento for Best Screenplay as well as the David di Donatello for Best Script, while Valerio Mastandrea received the David di Donatello for Best Supporting Actor. It was released in Italy in 2013, followed by releases in Belgium and France in 2014.
