Wild Desire is a film from 1953 featuring Ayhan Işık, the actor who would go on to become one of the defining stars of Turkish cinema, nicknamed the "ugly king". The production dates from the earliest years of Işık's screen career, when the Yeşilçam industry was still taking shape.
