Verpiss Dich, Schneewittchen

Verpiss Dich, Schneewittchen is a 2018 German comedy directed by Cüneyt Kaya. Running roughly 87 minutes and shot in German, the musical comedy was backed by Constantin Film.

The picture is notable as the first major screen role for Bülent Ceylan, one of Germany's best-known cabaret and stand-up performers. He plays Sammy, who keeps his brother's hamam clean while dreaming of life as a rock star. Learning that the music contest he has set his heart on accepts bands only, he gathers a handful of very different people around him and puts together an outfit called 'Hamam Hardrock'.

Josefine Preuß and Nilam Farooq appear alongside Ceylan. Blending comedy with music, the film draws much of its humour from how badly matched this improvised band turns out to be.
