Women are Weak (Üç Sevgili (1959, film))

Directed by Michel Boisrond, the 1959 French-Italian comedy Faibles Femmes (Women are Weak) was scripted by Boisrond together with Annette Wademant. A very young Alain Delon appears in one of his earliest screen credits here, and film historians point to this particular part as the turning point that set his stardom in motion.

Alongside Delon, the ensemble included Mylène Demongeot, Pascale Petit and Jacqueline Sassard. Under a different regional title, audiences abroad knew the same picture as a story about three murderous women rather than weak ones.
