Child of Taurus (Toros Çocuğu) (translated)

Toros Çocuğu (The Taurus Child) is a 1946 black-and-white Turkish drama film, with a screenplay written by Şevki Yazman based on his own novel of the same name. Directed by Şadan Kâmil, the film was produced by Halil Kamil and made by the production company Ha-Ka Film.

The story follows a young man who returns to Turkey after completing his studies in Europe and struggles to be of use to his homeland. Alongside Cahit Irgat and Orhan Elmas, the cast features performers of the era such as Mustafa Bilgetekin, Nevin Aypar, and Müfit Kiper.
