The Vanity Serum

The Vanity Serum (Italian: Il siero della vanità) is a 2004 Italian mystery-thriller film directed by Alex Infascelli. It is loosely adapted from Niccolò Ammaniti's Il libro italiano dei morti and follows the conventions of the Italian giallo tradition with a dark crime story. The screenplay was written by Antonio Manzini and Niccolò Ammaniti. The cast is headed by Margherita Buy, Francesca Neri and Valerio Mastandrea, with Elisabetta Rocchetti also appearing. Running about 92 minutes, the film was released in Italy in 2004.
