The Island of Secrets

The Island of Secrets is a Finland–Greece co-production directed by Taavi Vartia, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Karoliina Lindgren and Niklas Lindgren. The 86-minute teen adventure film, produced by Yellow Film & TV together with Inkas Film Production, was made in 2014.

Bringing together Finnish and Greek performers, the cast includes Giannis Stankoglou alongside Nuutti Konttinen, Emil Auno, Veikka Vainikka, Ifigeneia Tzola, Ville Myllyrinne, Laura Malmivaara, Joanna Triantafyllidou, Orfeas Avgoustidis and Gerasimos Skiadaressis. Reflecting the two-country partnership behind it, the film is performed in three languages: Finnish, Greek and English.
