The Charmer

The Charmer, originally titled Rubacuori, is a 1931 Italian-language comedy film. Directed by Guido Brignone from a screenplay by Dino Falconi, it was produced by Cines, one of the leading studios of the era, and shot at the Cines Studios in Rome. The film runs 68 minutes.

It is counted among the "White Telephone" films that shaped Italian cinema in the 1930s and 1940s, a genre known for light drawing-room comedies set in wealthy circles. The film stars Armando Falconi, Tina Lattanzi and Ada Dondini, with Mary Kid, Vasco Creti, Mercedes Brignone, Alfredo Martinelli and Giorgio Bianchi in supporting roles; Guido Celano appears in a minor part. In France the film was released under the title Vous que j'adore.
