The Devil's Shoe (Şeytanın Pabucu) (translated)

Şeytanın Pabucu (The Devil's Shoe) is a Turkish comedy film released in cinemas on December 26, 2008. Written by Aslı Doğan, Turgut Yasalar and Hilal Bakkaloğlu, the film was co-directed by Turgut Yasalar and Hilal Bakkaloğlu.

The story follows Burhan, an aging man who lives with his sister Nebahat and fritters away his days losing money at gambling tables. Around characters chasing one big score, a layered con unfolds in which fake identities change hands and swindlers fall into their own traps. The lead roles are shared by Fatih Ürek, better known as a singer, and Aysun Kayacı, while Hüseyin Avni Danyal, Barış Falay, Ahmet Erkut, Serhat Talay and Yılmaz Gruda appear in supporting parts. The film stands among the star-driven popular comedies of late-2000s Turkish cinema.
