Private Practice

Private Practice is an American medical drama created by Shonda Rhimes and the first spin-off of Grey's Anatomy. The series follows surgeon Addison Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh, as she leaves Seattle Grace Hospital and moves to Los Angeles to join a private practice run by her friends. Set at what begins as the Oceanside Wellness Group and later becomes Seaside Health & Wellness Center, the show depicts Addison working alongside doctors with a wide range of specialties.

The series balances difficult medical cases, which frequently raise moral and ethical questions, with the personal lives, friendships, and romances of the staff. It premiered on ABC on September 26, 2007, and ran for six seasons and 111 episodes before concluding on January 22, 2013. The sixth and final season was the only one without Tim Daly. In Turkey, the series aired on Dizimax Drama.
