Private Lesson (Özel Ders)

Private Lesson is a 2022 Turkish romantic comedy that premiered on Netflix, written by Murat Dişli and Yasemin Erturan and directed by Kıvanç Baruönü.

The story follows Azra, a young woman who makes her living guiding teenagers through matters of love and life under the banner of giving them private lessons. Her carefully ordered existence gets upended when a handsome new neighbor moves into her building, and she finds herself struggling to follow the very advice she hands out to others.

Bensu Soral stars as Azra, with Hülya Gülşen Irmak playing Semra and Elif Ceren Balıkçı appearing as Duygu. Running about 89 minutes, the film keeps to a light, playful tone typical of the genre.
