Os Imortais

Os Imortais is a 2003 Portuguese film directed by António-Pedro Vasconcelos. Its screenplay, co-written by Vasconcelos and Vicente Alves do Ó, was adapted from Carlos Vale Ferraz's novel "Os Lobos Não Usam Coleira." A co-production between Portugal, France, and the United Kingdom, the film blends drama and action.

The story follows a group of former commandos who decide to pull off a crime to honor a friend who has died; it stars Joaquim de Almeida (as former commando Roberto Alua) and Nicolau Breyner (as Inspector Joaquim Malarranha). The cast also includes Emmanuelle Seigner, Filipe Duarte, Ricardo Pereira, Rogério Samora, and Hoji Fortuna. The film premiered in Portugal on November 7, 2003.
