Resident Evil: Retribution (Ölümcül Deney: İntikam)

Resident Evil: Retribution is a 2012 action horror film written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. It is the fifth entry in the Resident Evil film series, loosely adapted from the Capcom video game franchise, and a direct sequel to Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010). The story follows Alice, who has been captured by the Umbrella Corporation and wakes up inside an underwater facility in the far north where the deadly T-virus is tested. Forced to fight her way out, she confronts secrets from her own past while trying to destroy the source of the outbreak that turns people into flesh-eating zombies. Alongside returning characters, the film introduces figures from the games who had not appeared before, including Leon S. Kennedy, Ada Wong and Barry Burton. Shot in Toronto and filmed entirely in 3D like its predecessor, it was released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. The film grossed over $240 million worldwide despite mostly negative reviews, which faulted its plot, characters and acting while praising the 3D, visual effects and fight choreography. It was followed by Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in 2016.
