Odd Squad

Odd Squad (original Italian title Ciao nemico, also released as The Odd Squad and The Bridge Between) is a 1981 Italian war comedy film directed and written by Enzo Barboni. Blending wartime settings with the conventions of Italian comedy of the period, the film approaches its military backdrop in a humorous register. The ensemble cast includes Giuliano Gemma, Johnny Dorelli, Vincent Gardenia, Riccardo Garrone, Eros Pagni, Carmen Russo, Massimo Lopez, Sal Borgese, Jackie Basehart and Ivan Rassimov. Barboni handled both directing and screenwriting duties on the production, which is characteristic of the light comic style he brought to genre filmmaking in Italy during that era.
