Nucingen House

Nucingen House (French title La Maison Nucingen) is a 2008 film written and directed by Chilean filmmaker Raoul Ruiz. A French-Romanian-Chilean co-production shot in French, it runs about 94 minutes and is classified on Wikidata as a vampire film. Its cast includes Jean-Marc Barr alongside Elsa Zylberstein, Audrey Marnay, Anna Sigalevitch and Lolita Chammah.

The film belongs to the late period of Ruiz's long exile in France, after he left Chile in the wake of the 1973 military coup and settled in Paris. Over the course of his career he directed more than a hundred films and became best known in France, where his experimental, literature-infused cinema made him a leading figure of the European avant-garde. Ruiz died in 2011, a few years after this film's release.
