Next Summer

Next Summer (original title: L'Été prochain) is a 1985 French drama film written and directed by Nadine Trintignant. Running about 100 minutes, it features an ensemble cast headed by Philippe Noiret, Claudia Cardinale, Fanny Ardant and Jean-Louis Trintignant, alongside Marie Trintignant, Judith Godrèche and Isabelle Mergault. Shot in French, the film brings together several of the most prominent performers of French cinema of the period under the direction of one of its notable women filmmakers.
