My Little One

My Little One (original title Piccola mia) is a 1933 Italian drama film directed by Eugenio de Liguoro, who co-wrote the screenplay with Alessandro De Stefani. Germana Paolieri, Ernesto Sabbatini and Alessandra De Stefani head the cast, which also features Guido Celano, Lola Braccini, Mario Siletti, María Denis, Gino Viotti and Franco Coop.

The story follows a woman trapped in a loveless marriage who abandons her husband and child for another man. Shot at the Farnesina Studios in Rome, the film had its sets designed by Alfredo Montori. Running roughly 67 minutes and filmed in Italian, it belongs to the wave of studio-made melodramas that Italian cinema produced in the early 1930s.
