Les louves

The She-Wolves (French: Les louves) is a 1957 French film noir drama directed by Luis Saslavsky. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Pierre Boileau and Thomas Narcejac, it stars François Périer, Micheline Presle and Jeanne Moreau. Production took place at the Epinay Studios in Paris, with sets created by art director Robert Bouladoux. Running about 101 minutes, the picture was also released under the alternative title Demoniac. The story was later adapted again in 1985 as Letters to an Unknown Lover, a British-French television movie made for Channel 4 and featuring Cherie Lunghi and Mathilda May.
