Les 2 papas et la maman
Les 2 papas et la maman (original title Les Deux Papas et la Maman) is a 1996 French comedy co-directed by Jean-Marc Longval and Smaïn, from a screenplay by Smaïn, Michel Delgado and Olivier Dazat. As its title suggests, the film builds its humour on the complications of an unconventional family arrangement involving two fathers and the mother of one child. The ensemble cast features Arielle Dombasle, Antoine de Caunes, Julie Gayet and Smaïn himself, who also co-directed, while Jamel Debbouze appears in one of his early screen roles. Running about ninety minutes, the picture stands as an example of mid-1990s French popular comedy, notable for bringing together several well-known performers of the period.
