TV Series · 2000–2015 · 3 people

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is an American crime drama series created by Anthony E. Zuiker that aired on CBS from 2000 to 2015, running for fifteen seasons. The show centers on a team of forensic specialists working for the Las Vegas police crime lab, who comb crime scenes for physical evidence and rely on laboratory science to unravel baffling murders and other unusual cases. Each episode typically presents one or more separate investigations. The original ensemble featured William Petersen as supervisor Gil Grissom, along with Marg Helgenberger, Jorja Fox, Gary Dourdan, George Eads and Paul Guilfoyle; later seasons added Laurence Fishburne and Ted Danson to the cast. A major ratings success that earned six Emmy Awards, the series became a cultural phenomenon and launched a franchise with the spin-offs CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and CSI: Cyber. The story concluded with a two-hour television finale titled Immortality, which brought back several original stars, and a follow-up series, CSI: Vegas, debuted in 2021. In Turkey the show was broadcast on TRT under the title Kanıt Peşinde.
