Kalabaliken i Bender

Kalabaliken i Bender is a Swedish comedy film from 1983, directed by Mats Arehn from a screenplay by Rolf Börjlind. Produced by Viking Film together with Europafilm, the picture runs 97 minutes and was made in Swedish, French and German.

Its ensemble brings together several well-known figures of Swedish comedy, among them Lasse Åberg, Brasse Brännström and Gösta Ekman, alongside Sten Ljunggren, Lars Amble and Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt. Turkish performers also appear in the film: the celebrated actor Tuncel Kurtiz, as well as Ayten Kuyululu Ürkmez and Ayşe Emel Mesçi. The film was released in 1983, and a further release date in 1985 is also on record.
