It's for Your Own Good

It's for Your Own Good (Es ist zu deinem Besten) is a 2020 German comedy directed by Marc Rothemund, adapted from the Spanish film Es por tu bien. Three fathers, all brothers-in-law, thoroughly dislike the partners their daughters have chosen and secretly form a pact to break up the relationships. Their well-meaning but increasingly out-of-control schemes land the families in one comic predicament after another. Hilmi Sözer, who plays the physiotherapist Yussuf, is among the notable members of the cast.
