Ghosts (Hayaletler)

Ghosts is a 2020 drama film written and directed by Azra Deniz Okyay as her feature-length debut. Produced jointly by Türkiye, France and Qatar, it had its world premiere in the Critics' Week strand of the 77th Venice International Film Festival, where it took home the section's top prize.

The film went on to collect five prizes at the 57th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, among them best film and best director, and was also honoured with the Young FIPRESCI Jury Award at the 36th Warsaw Film Festival.

The principal cast features Dilayda Güneş as Dilem, Beril Kayar as Ela, Nalan Kuruçim as İffet and Emrah Özdemir as Raşit, with supporting appearances by Ahmet Turan, İhsan Özgen, Selin Menek, Ekin Arıbaş and Asude Şeyma Öztürk.
