Firildak Family (Fırıldak Ailesi)

Fırıldak Ailesi is a Turkish animated feature that brings the television series created by cartoonist Varol Yaşaroğlu to the big screen. Directed by Haluk Can Dizdaroğlu and Berk Tokay from a script by Dizdaroğlu, and produced by BKM, the film opened in Turkish cinemas on 3 February 2017 with a runtime of about 88 minutes.

The story begins with the Fırıldak clan's ordinary village life, spent dancing the halay and hunting for a fourth player for okey. One night, all the women of the village are abducted, forcing Sabri Fırıldak and his friends into an enchanted forest filled with charms, dragons and terrifying creatures. To bring the women back, the heroes must face the villainous Tarumar in an epic battle.

The voice cast features Eser Yenenler, İbrahim Büyükak and Oğuzhan Koç sharing the role of Necati, alongside Bülent Kayabaş, Murat Boz, Yılmaz Vural and Mahmut Tuncer. The film was promoted with the slogan "Durdurun orta dünyayı inecek var."
