Fat Pizza
Fat Pizza is a 2003 Australian comedy film adapted from the television series Pizza, created by Paul Fenech. Fenech directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Tahir Bilgiç; its story is set between the season two episode "Desert Pizza" and the season three episode "Brand New Pizza" of the series.
Produced by Village Roadshow Pictures and SBS Independent, the film was shot in Sydney's Canterbury-Bankstown region, particularly Bass Hill and Chullora, with additional scenes filmed at Kellyville and Norwest Business Park. Following the chaotic misadventures of a pizzeria's delivery drivers, the film features Tahir Bilgiç and marks Rebel Wilson's first movie credit. Released by Roadshow Films on 10 April 2003, it earned $2.1 million at the box office.
