Bootleggers

Bootleggers (Italian: Cinque figli di cane, Spanish: América rugiente) is a 1969 Italian-Spanish co-production directed by Alfio Caltabiano, blending crime and action elements. The screenplay was written by Caltabiano together with Ferdinando Baldi and José Gutiérrez Maesso. George Eastman and Wayde Preston head the cast, which also includes Nello Pazzafini, Graziella Granata, Tano Cimarosa, José Suárez and Eduardo Fajardo.

Although the story unfolds in the United States, the picture was shot in Spain and on the Amalfi coast of Italy. In the manner typical of Italo-Spanish co-productions of its time, it moves through the criminal underworld suggested by its title. Filmed in Italian, it has a running time of about 93 minutes.
