Bibi Blocksberg and the Secret of the Blue Owls

Bibi Blocksberg and the Secret of the Blue Owls (Bibi Blocksberg und das Geheimnis der blauen Eulen) is a 2004 German fantasy comedy film directed by Franziska Buch. The screenplay was written by Elfie Donnelly, who also adapted the story into a book of the same name. The film is a sequel to the first Bibi Blocksberg movie, which had been the most successful German film of 2002.

Sidonie von Krosigk reprises her title role from the first film, alongside Corinna Harfouch and Katja Riemann. Running about 114 minutes, the film features the character Elea Eluanda, who went on to receive her own spin-off series from the Bibi Blocksberg audio drama franchise. In France, the film was released directly on DVD in November 2007.
