Bang Boom Bang

Bang Boom Bang (full title Bang Boom Bang – Ein todsicheres Ding) is a German crime comedy released in 1999, the feature debut of director Peter Thorwarth. Set in the Ruhr-region town of Unna, it follows the small-time crook Keek, who has to conjure up the loot from a bank robbery after his hot-tempered friend Kalle breaks out of prison, unleashing a chain of increasingly chaotic mishaps. Hilmi Sözer appears in the ensemble cast. The film went on to become a much-loved cult favourite of German comedy.
