Oh Belinda (Aaahh Belinda)

Aaahh Belinda is a Turkish drama-comedy film released on Netflix on April 7, 2023. Directed by Deniz Yorulmazer, it is a contemporary adaptation of Atıf Yılmaz's 1986 classic film of the same name.

The film centers on Dilara, a famous young actress preparing to star in a shampoo commercial. During filming, Dilara mysteriously finds herself involved in the life of the character in the commercial script, Handan. Now alienated from her own identity, the woman embarks on a desperate struggle to prove the truth and return to her old life.

Neslihan Atagül plays the lead role of Dilara/Handan, while the cast also includes Serkan Çayoğlu, Necip Memili, Meral Çetinkaya, Beril Pozam, and Necmettin Çobanoğlu. Exploring themes of identity, womanhood, and self-realization within a fantastical framework, the film adapts the original version's storyline for today's audience.
