2019, After the Fall of New York

2019, After the Fall of New York is a 1983 Italian-French post-apocalyptic action film directed by Sergio Martino. Two decades after a nuclear holocaust has left humanity sterile from radioactive fallout, the survivors are split between the Eurak society and the rebel Federation. A mercenary named Parsifal is hired by the Federation for a dangerous mission: to find and rescue the last fertile woman on Earth. She is being held by the Euraks, so Parsifal must slip undetected into the ruins of New York to reach her. The cast includes Michael Sopkiw, Valentine Monnier, Anna Kanakis, George Eastman and Edmund Purdom. Made under the influence of John Carpenter's Escape from New York, the film was released in Italy by Medusa Film in July 1983 and is remembered as an example of Italian exploitation science fiction of the era.
