Sevda Demirel — Biography

Sevda Demirel (born 28 April 1972 in Langen, Germany) is a Turkish model, singer, film actress and television presenter.

After starting out as a model, she moved into cinema and television in the 1990s. She appeared on screen as a village girl in Bay E (1995) and went on to act in the films Otostop (1996) and Tutku Suçları (2000) as well as the television series Tatlı Kaçıklar (1996) and Hiç Bana Sordun mu? (1997). She also worked as an assistant art director on the film Avrupalı (2007).

Also known for her music work and for presenting television programmes, Demirel has over the years remained a figure of interest to the tabloid press; in 2026 she made headlines after breaking her leg while walking in Maçka Park in Istanbul.
