Seher Şeniz — Biography
Seher Şeniz (1 March 1948, İzmir – 14 May 1992, Istanbul), born Seher Başdaş, was a Turkish actress, belly dancer and photo model. She rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s and was regarded, alongside Tülay Karaca and Nesrin Topkapı, as one of Turkey's leading dancers.
Known as the first Turkish woman to pose for Playboy magazine, she also appeared in more than twenty films between 1962 and 1985, including "Tarkan Viking Kanı" (1971) and "Kader Yolcuları" (1975).
Şeniz died by suicide in Istanbul on 14 May 1992.
