Seda Türkmen — Biography

Seda Türkmen was born on 14 November 1986 in İzmir and graduated from the Theatre Department of Dokuz Eylül University. She stepped into television with the 2009 series Papatyam, then took roles in Annem Uyurken (2012), Fatih Harbiye (2013) and Hayatımın Aşkı (2016). In 2017 she played the character Tuba in the ATV series Kanatsız Kuşlar.

Also active on stage, Türkmen won Best Supporting Actress at the Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Awards that same year for her role in the play İstila!. She married fellow actor Bora Akkaş on 19 August 2017, and the couple divorced by mutual agreement in September 2019. In 2020 she won Best Supporting Actress again, this time at the Adana Film Festival for her role in the film Mavzer, and since June 2026 she has played the character Nesrin in the Star TV series Doğanın Kanunu.
