Sacha Bourdo — Biography

Sacha Bourdo, a French actor of Russian origin born Aleksandr Burdo, was born on 8 January 1962 in Oryol. He earned a César nomination for Most Promising Actor for playing Nino in Manuel Poirier's 1997 film Western. He worked repeatedly with director Michel Gondry, including on The Science of Sleep and Be Kind Rewind, and won praise for his portrayal of a Soviet soldier in the 2006 film L'étoile du soldat, set during the Soviet war in Afghanistan. His other credits include a television adaptation of Les Misérables, Bazar and The Race.
