Perihan Ünlücan — Biography

Born on 28 February 1984 in Istanbul, Perihan Ünlücan was the eldest of two children, with a brother six years her junior; she attended Cağaloğlu Anadolu High School on a scholarship before studying physics at Kocaeli University. Discovered at a concert during her student years, she moved into acting with the support of director Gül Oğuz, making her television debut in 2009 as Yıldız in Kış Masalı. In 2010 she appeared alongside Kenan İmirzalıoğlu in a Pepsi commercial and joined the cast of Keskin Bıçak, a series pulled from air after its sixth episode due to low ratings. Following 20 Dakika, she joined the third season of Karadayı in 2012 as Nilay, and made her film debut in 2014 with Polis Akademisi: Alaturka.

She went on to appear in Hatırla Gönül in 2015 and, in 2017, in Kırlangıç Fırtınası as Reyhan Turaboğlu and in the series Kayıtdışı. For several years she played the lawyer Başak in Kanal D's long-running series Arka Sokaklar, a role she left in early 2024. In 2025 she played Gülay in the series Bahar, and in 2026 she is set to return to screens as Ayşen in the series Espiyonaj, due to air on the Tabii platform.
