Patrick Muldoon — Biography
William Patrick Muldoon III was born on 27 September 1968 in San Pedro, Los Angeles, to an Irish father and a Croatian mother, and was educated at a Jesuit school.
He became known as the first actor to play Austin Reed on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, holding the role from 1992 to 1995 before Austin Peck took over.
He reached a wider audience as the villainous Richard Hart on Melrose Place from 1995 to 1996, and was also recognized for playing Zander Barcalow in the science-fiction film Starship Troopers.
He later appeared in films including Meleğin Sırları (Broken Angel) and Far Cry, and worked as a musician and, for a period, as a film producer.
Muldoon died in Beverly Hills, California, on 19 April 2026, at the age of 57, following a heart attack.
