Özlem Ada Şahin — Biography
Özlem Ada Şahin was born on 29 October 1991 in Ayvalık, Balıkesir; her mother's side is of Bosnian descent and her father's side of Yugoslav origin. She trained in ballet from a young age before turning to modelling, graduated from Yeditepe University's Faculty of Communication in Radio, Television and Cinema, and walked the runway for numerous brands.
In 2011 she made her acting debut as a concubine in Muhteşem Yüzyıl, alongside leads Halit Ergenç, Meryem Uzerli and Nebahat Çehre, and went on to appear in productions including Kırmızı Oda, Kin, Oğlum and Biz Kimden Kaçıyorduk Anne?. She speaks English well and has continued studying Spanish.
She married singer Berkay Şahin in 2016; the couple have a daughter named Arya. Following her marriage she continued to draw tabloid attention.
