Nusret Şenay — Biography
Nusret Şenay was born on 17 April 1960 in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul. After graduating from the Theatre Department of Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography, he joined the State Theatres in 1987. He worked at the Bursa State Theatre from 1989 to 1994 before continuing his acting and directing career with the Ankara State Theatre; in the 2009-2010 season he won a best actor award for his role in the play Mojo, and won best director at the 11th Direklerarası Audience Awards for staging Ateşli Sabır at Bulancak Sanat Tiyatrosu.
He began his screen career in 1993 with the series Ferhunde Hanımlar, and went on to appear in series including Şüphe, Yuvadan Bir Kuş Uçtu, Ihlamurlar Altında, Yeni Evli and Yalnız Kalpler, as well as the 2006 film Valley of the Wolves: Iraq. He reached a wide audience in 2011 as Osman Kozan in the Star TV series Beni Affet.
