Meral Perin — Biography
Born in 1965, Meral Perin is a German actress of Turkish descent who is sometimes credited as Meral Yüzgüleç. She began her career in German television productions in the late 1990s and became widely recognised for a role in an episode of the long-running crime series Tatort.
She later appeared in Turkish-German co-productions such as Evet, ich will! and Ayrılık, and joined the cast of the 2023 series Hotel Mondial. In 2025 she played the character Yadigar in the Netflix film She Said Maybe, released in Turkey under the title Evet, Hayır, Belki.
Active for more than three decades, Perin has built a career playing characters that bridge German and Turkish cultural settings in both film and television.
