Meli Bendeli — Biography
Meli Bendeli (born Ahmet Melih Yılmaz; 1989, Ankara) is a Turkish actress. She began her screen career in feature films, appearing in Abluka (2015), Daha (2017) and Körfez (2017).
On television she became best known for her role as Timsah Celil in the series Çukur, and she also appeared in productions such as Hayat Şarkısı and Cam Tavanlar.
In 2022 she publicly came out as a transgender woman and adopted the name Meli Bendeli; in the following years she drew attention with statements about the exclusion she faced in the acting industry after her transition.
