Hande Ataizi — Biography
Ayşe Hande Ataizi (born 2 September 1973 in Bursa) is a Turkish actress and television presenter. She trained in the theatre department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory and began her career on stage, moving to screen work in the mid-1990s.
Her breakthrough came as Belkıs in the 1996 film Mum Kokulu Kadınlar, a performance that brought her the Golden Orange award for best actress. She went on to play the title character in the series Ruhsar from 1997, appeared in Böyle mi Olacaktı (1997) and Melekler Evi (2000), reached a wide audience through the comedies Kahpe Bizans (1999) and Çılgın Dersane (2007), and took the role of Süreyya in the 2007 series Kara Duvak. Later credits include Camdaki Kız (2021), Bihter (2023) and Taş Kağıt Makas (2024).
Her private life has drawn steady press attention: a 2004 marriage to Fethi Pekin lasted a single day, and she was married to the journalist Benjamin Harvey between 2012 and 2018, with whom she has a son, Leon.
