Haluk Cömert — Biography

Haluk Cömert was born on 1 February 1959 in Ankara. He graduated from the Acting Department of the Ankara State Conservatory.

He worked at the Adana, Ankara and Antalya State Theatres. He taught diction, broadcasting, voice-over, presenting and acting at the Başkent İletişim Akademisi, and he teaches cinema, television acting and diction classes at the Oyunculuk Mektebi.

He began his television career in 1983 with the series Kurt ve Kuzu. He appeared in productions such as Bizim Evin Halleri, Baykuşların Saltanatı, Kurtlar Vadisi Irak, Kara Yılan, Dağlar Delisi, Talih Kuşu, Kapalı Çarşı, Bir Bulut Olsam, Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi, Hayata Beş Kala, Yol Ayrımı, Sultan, Adını Kalbime Yazdım and Emanet. He also acted in the feature films Ben Bir İnsan (2002) and Toprağın Çocukları (2011). He is married to Berna Yavuz.
